THE RAINBOW AND THE FLOWERS

Once, in a garden there were many flowers but of different colours. They were so pretty and beautiful. One rainy day, there was a quarrel among the flowers.

The Red flower said: “Look, I am the queen and the bravest one among the flowers as I have an attractive colour red which is common in everything. That is why traffic signals use my color to indicate the vehicles to stop”.

As soon as the red flowers finished telling about its quality, the green flower shouted loudly. “Don’t you know that green color is also there in traffic signal? And just look at you, your leaves are made of my color.” Hearing this the yellow flower said, “Oh I don’t think so, then,  my color is also there in the traffic signal as I am the brightest one among us, the sun is also yellow in color.”

“Stop it! You three are fools. Don’t you always see the sky every day? Yes, it is my color”, said the blue flower. The blue flower also mentioned that the 70% of Earth’s surface is covered with water and so it is called the Blue Planet. “This shows that I am common in everything.” Added the Blue flower.

 “Very silly, look at me! I am the prettiest one, that’s why cute girls are wearing my color dress”, said the pink flower. By hearing the flowers’ quarrel, a beautiful rainbow appeared in front of them. Everyone looked at the rainbow and the eyes were shining. The rainbow said, “Friends, I hope you all are fine but why are your faces so gloomy? I heard a sort of noise while I was doing my work. Could you all share with me what had happened? ”

 Then all the flowers started talking about their colors. Suddenly, the rainbow requested to have some silence. Then all the flowers kept quiet. “Friends, just have a look at me, I have a lot of colors, right? Do you think I am so proud of my beauty? , Rainbow asked.

By hearing this, the flowers said together, “NO!” Then the rainbow continued, my dear little angels, we all have our own beauty, color, creativity and by having so we must not boast ourselves as this makes others feel blue! So we must learn to love and respect each other. The flowers, by hearing the words of the rainbow, realized their mistakes and decided to live peacefully thereafter in their garden.

Moral: IT’S NOT THE BEAUTY THAT STEALS YOUR HEART, BUT ATTITUDE, LOVE AND AFFECTION.
